Hair/makeup Trials

It’s only one look per trial. I lined mine up with my engagement photo shoot so that I can get good use out of it and see how it would hold up.

It's 1 look. I also lined my makeup trial up with my photoshoot to see how it looks in pics and how it holds up. I'm doing my hair trial like 3 weeks before the wedding since my hair will be same length etc as it will be on wedding day.

One look, but don’t be scared to ask for adjustments. And don’t be scared to ask for adjustments after the fact! I liked the way my hair looked after my trial but within an hour after leaving my head started to hurt because of how the style was pinned, so on the day of I showed her the issue and chose an slightly different presentation for the back. You can play around a bit within reason, and you can definitely come in with a few ideas and talk through them while the stylist can play around with your hair a bit and advise.

For me it was one look, but it's one look you're working on together! My stylist was asking questions about my hair and makeup and if I like things so far the entire time she was working, so if I had any notes on darker eyes, less blush, etc. she was fixing them on the go to find our final look. I also knew I wanted my hair in a simple half-up style so I didn't try multiple hairstyles, but we did play around with the volume, the face-framing, and where I part my hair.
