Hair/mu Trial- Help. Opinions

Thank you so much everyone who took the time to tell me their opinion. The wife of one of the groomsmen is really good at makeup and she said she will do a trial for me. Hopefully it will be better!

I think if you showed the make up person this inspiration photo you might want to find someone else to do your make up. I know that sounds harsh but when you look back at photos and it’s not like what you wanted, you may feel let down.


I think the eyelashes don’t look professionally done. They’re raising a little at the inner corner and the eyeshadow was not blended well. Very dark and made your entire eye look darker than maybe you wanted. You’re obviously beautiful so make up should only enhance it not make you doubt. I also think that foundation whites you out instead of there being subtle shading like in your inspiration pic. Maybe try a diy with some you tube vids to get an idea of what you like more.

As a make up artist and hair stylist, I agree with a lot of these comments. The hair is pretty but you need someone else to do the make up. The colors are not the same as the inspiration picture, the eye shadow is not blended, the under eye color does not do your beautiful face justice, making you look ill. There absolutely no contouring, blush, highlighter, brow filling in. It just looks unfinished. To be honest, that hair style is very easy and any experienced hair stylist could replicate
