Hairstyle ideas for African American bride?

I found inspo pictures on Pinterest but ended up freestyling it. Lol. I did it myself so I didn’t really need to have it figured out beforehand.


I used kinky curly clips-ins for thickness. I straightened and curled them to match my hair which I also straightened then pin curled.
Definitely look at Pinterest though, there’s so much there.

I tried to find a good picture but I don’t have too many clear pictures of just my hair. But it was basically a layered bun with loose curls to frame my face. I also had a halo band.

What about something like this from pinterest?

I think an updo with some curly pieces hanging down will perfectly match your princess and the frog theme.

That's a really good idea, I think clip ins would be nice because they're affordable. I've checked pinterest but I always get overwhelmed, lol. I live in a really small redneck town, so there's just no one around here that does black hair other than box braids. Hopefully Youtube can help me actually learn to do it myself

The curly hair pieces hanging down is such a dream 🥰 The only thing is if I'm doing a protective bun or some kind of protective style, my natural hair is too damaged to hold a curl like that, and it's really short. Not a TWA but not even pass my ears when stretched.
