Hmm... could you possibly bring your own foundation? I wouldn't worry so much about the other elements of the makeup - a good professional makeup artist is looking at bone structure and eye shape etc, so should be able to do all of the other elements without too much difficulty irrespective, but if they don't have many/the right foundation shade, it just isn't going to work. I'd bring one just for your own peace of mind.

Your leave out should be fine, it should be in the 80s which isn't TOO hot. Just flat iron it close to the ceremony time so it can be laid for your pictures! But I understand why you are worried about the makeup, I personally don't get my makeup done at places like that for that specific reason. Unfortunately some people aren't good with matching to African American skin. Did you check to see if there is a Sephora or something near? I know they are some places in/near Cancun & will probably have more experience with people of color.

Is the leave out negotiable? I would strongly urge you to consider a closure. October is low season in Cancun because it’s one of the rainiest months. Don’t worry, it won’t be a washout, but the humidity will be BRUTAL as a result, so it will be easier to blend (unless of course the hair you’re using is similar to your natural texture anyway).
