Halibut Buffet Cost?

Hey everyone,

I plan to serve halibut and chicken at my buffet-style reception for my PNW wedding 🌲. I am trying to figure out how expensive it’s going to be for about 70 guests for halibut. My second option would be salmon instead but if the price difference isn’t really huge I would choose halibut instead.
Anyone else serve halibut recently in 2022 or are going to this year?

This will entirely depend on the actual venue/caterer/restaurant providing the food. I would just get some local quotes to compare them. And surprisingly, salmon usually is cheaper than halibut, depending on the season.
