Halloween 2020 is on a Saturday. Any Halloween brides?

What is your vision for the wedding? What take on Halloween will you do?

I'm getting married Halloween 2020 specifically because it's a Saturday! Our families are all out of state so we needed a weekend and I always dreamed of getting married on Halloween.
We have almost everything figured out, so if you want ideas, I am more than happy to share!

Unfortunately I couldn't talk him into it. FH wants a "traditional" wedding. I just want to live vicariously through you guys! I am still getting married in a red dress (can't stand white wedding gowns), but I guess we won't be doing a cool Halloween theme. A good friend's relative did a costumed wedding for Halloween, and I always dreamed of doing that! I got super excited about doing a reception at a local pumpkin patch, but in hindsight, probably not the best for people in their dress clothes, anyways, and Kentucky weather is sketchy in fall...

Absolutely..
That's the one thing I will not budge on. Halloween is my families favorite holiday and being Mexican with Dia De Los Muetros it means a lot more than just a cutesy spooky holiday.

It's a connection to my departed family so they'll for sure be in attendance.
