I really really didn't want a bridal shower. My fiance and I have lived together for 7 years we don't need anything for the household and I just didn't want one cause I'm pretty socially awkward. However, my mom really wanted to throw me a party. Not so much a bridal shower but just a day with her, my sisters, future Mother and sister in laws and some close girlfriends. I declined countless times but I finally decided OK but under some conditions.
1. I want it in October
2. I want it to be a fun costume party
3. I get to dress up as the Corpse Bride
Halloween is my favorite holiday and I use to want an October wedding, but it didn't work out that way. But at least I can look forward to an October/Halloween bridal shower.
