Halloween Honeymoon in Salem, Ma!

Fiancé has finally agreed to my request to go to Salem, MA for our honeymoon next year! We’re getting married on October 26, 2019 so we’re thinking of heading out October 27 and being there for Halloween. So we’re looking for cool places to stay. Any recommendations? Trying to be economical, so please keep it at or below $200/night if possible.

    I believe Salem has an Econolodge that may be under 200/night. That would be your only hotel option though for under $200. Halloween in Salem is incredibly popular and Salem is right on the water so hotels there aren’t cheap.

    As Sarah said, that is an expensive time of year in Salem and finding an opening might be tough. I'd check towns near Salem - there are plenty. You could day trip.

    I'd definitely check hotels near Salem and rent a car so you could just drive in. Hotels will be jacked up in price because of the holiday so if you want something super affordable it may be hard to find.

    The salem inn is my favorite pllace to stay up there. The Hawthorne inn is also great. However, this is their busiest time if year with many hotels booking a year in adv3. Look at air b&b and surrounding towns if possible!

    The Salem waterfront hotel is really nice and affordable! The Hawthorne hotel is also absolutely beautiful but it’s a little on the pricey side. I just got back from a Salem trip last month and it was lots of fun! ☺️
