Halloween themed wedding?

If you guys love Halloween, then I think this could be so much fun! Definitely would be unique and unforgettable!

We both love halloween, and wanted to do something different for our wedding. We're not having everyone wear costumes but we're going to have little skulls on the table and a photobooth with Halloween props. I think it'll be elegant but also represent who we are as people

There’s goth, old Victorian, masquerade, touch of pumpkins/fall, Nighmare before Christmas, Beetlejuice, all kinds of fun decor themes that could be done in a classy way or just a very moody color scheme (dark blues, reds, purples or reds/purples).

I think Halloween weddings can be very tasteful and it's a day worth celebrating. It is the Irish/Celtic New Year afterall! In Irish tradition, it's also the day when the spirits of ancestors are said to return to visit family. My fiance and I had our handfasting on Halloween night. The theme was very witchy - earthy with lots of candles. We are going to have our wedding ceremony on the day after Halloween. In my opinion, it's no more or less tacky than a Christmas wedding and people do those ALL the time!
