I would stay away from anything too blatant. It is your wedding after all, not a costume party.

White pumpkins would give a Halloween element without being a traditional orange Jack o' lantern.

You can use the pumpkin a a vase, with a monogram or as part of a variety of decor.

AS Muriel said, too much emphasis on Halloween may not me a good thing. It can be overdone, and not come out as well.

I want something different that isn't as common as a traditional wedding. Only the reception will be optional costumes. We both love Halloween and wanted to celebrate it on our special day. I'm getting a dress like this made, but it will be black and purple.

Witches hats or pumpkins

I’m having what I call an Elegant Halloween wedding. I’m wanting to put bats on the walls or hanging down, fall leaf garland with lights, big spiders with spiderwebs by our bar area. A photo area before you walk in to our reception venue. I want to do the pumpkins with three lace candles around them for our guest tables. For the wedding table. Two black candelabras. I don’t know what els yet. Im going to have each of our family members carving a letter to spell out our last name in a pumpkin and was thinking of putting that on the floor in font of our wedding table.

I seen this picture on they hay bails and that is was cute! I think the candelabras will be neat! I made a centerpiece, but it won't load. It looks like a tutu with Halloween colors around a cylinder vase. And it full of gel beads then I'm going to put candles or glowsticks in it. I want something different though instead of all the same centerpieces. I'm not much for elegant, so I don't mind if stuff is odd lol

Spiders and eyeballs!! That would make it so awesome!! I have seen the head in a “jar” too, my mom started to suggest decorations long ago. Unfortunately she lives in Alaska and tends to impulse buy. Anything she suggested started to turn into a kids Halloween party look so I quickly turned it into “Elegant” Halloween.
