We wanted a Victorian gothic vibe so we found a old Victorian mansion that got turned into a boutique hotel for ours. Old architecture speaks halloween to me but even a old industrial warehouse could do the vibe. Look at photos of decor you like and then try to imagine if in the venue photos. That’s what I had to do. The venue we are at in Sacramento (chose it because it’s the only venue we really liked that had a great all inclusive package we could afford) all the photos were bright and white types of weddings so I had to really imagine it, they said they’ve never had anyone book that wanted such a dark color pallete so should be fun
