  I tipped very high because I loved my trial so much, but I would say to tip the same percentage you would for a normal cut/style or the same amount you were planning to tip for the wedding day.

  As the PPs mentioned, I would advise you tip on the price of the trial

  I can see you've actually since had your trial, however, adding an answer encase anyone else who views is wondering
