Hand written notes in invitations?

Hey -

Was wondering if anyone had any opinion or advice about putting hand written notes in with the invitations.
The ceremony and reception is both outside, so I want to warn people. I also want to let them know they are able to bring outside games to play, etc but I don’t want to put it on the actual invitation. Any advice if this would be weird?

Why don’t you add an information card that matches the invitation? It would basically be like having a separate reception card or one that has directions on it. You could hand write something, but that sounds like a lot of work. It would look better even if you just typed it and printed it out on your home computer.

I would include a details card along with the invite as well as put any info on your wedding website if you have one .

I typed up an information card and sent it with the STD’s as we aren’t doing formal invitations.
