Has anyone tried / succeeded in making their own paper flowers for their wedding? It sounds crazy, but there are so many beautiful ideas out there and it would save a ton of $. Plus, I love paper crafting, so I think it should be do-able right? I have over a year. Just wanted to see pics if...

Has anyone tried / succeeded in making their own paper flowers for their wedding? It sounds crazy, but there are so many beautiful ideas out there and it would save a ton of $.     I made comic book flowers for my cousin's wedding. It did take quite a bit of time, but I was happy to do it for her.

    My friend did this for her cousins wedding. it was beautiful. they got married infront and it was their background for their dinner table

    I am a huge paper crafter so I know how beautiful they can turn out when they are handmade. If you have over a year, I say go for it! If you have a bridal party, then make it a fun event with the bridesmaids - a little wine and YouTube videos. If they are okay with that, of course. I am part of a BP and I love helping the bride out with DIY projects.

    I've made about 25 of these and expect to make about 100 more. My wedding is sort of book themed.

    I made paper flowers for one of bulletin boards as a teacher. Never again. It was even more work than expected and only half looked decent the first round.
