Handwritten or Calligraphy - Wedding Invites

Did you hand write the addresses on your wedding invitation envelopes or did you hire a calligrapher? I’m having a hard time deciding what route to do.

Our invitation company printed our envelopes for us. We paid a small fee for custom envelopes and everything was taken care of.

I have pretty nice handwriting so I wrote my own. I do have escort cards being written.

I just got the whole wedding party together last weekend, cooked a big meal, and started hand writing the addresses for invitations to be sent out. It was fun spending the time together. I think that’s what makes the wedding process much more enjoyable. Guests aren’t taking the time to look at their address on the envelope anyway.

I had wrote all of our addressing on our invites and save the dates. I think it adds a nice personal touch.

Print labels, but handwrite their names on the inner envelope.
