This has probably already been asked, but I really need to get these invitations out ASAP. Is it ok to type the addresses in a fancy font and print on white label stickers? I don't want to pay a calligrapher. I can do calligraphy but I am really bad with keeping everything centered. Has anyone had...

We tried printing on the envelopes and it turned out to be a disaster, so we bought clear labels for our white envelopes. They turned out perfect! We did colored ink and a calligraphy font. So easy too!

We're having the addresses printed on the envelopes in colored ink, they look really nice.

Well, I have 175 invitations to print. I just tried printing a few testers at home and my printer jammed all three times I tried. I am now going to Michaels to buy a calligraphy pen, I will post a pick and you ladies can tell me if my handwriting is awful.

Lol at Amber..I am sure your handwriting will be just fine. I think everyone worries so much about how the names will look on the outside..I dont think it even has to be in calligraphy..What s wrong with being original and writing it just in need hand writing? I might just write it and not do handwriting. My handwriting is worse. ha ha... good luck everyoneSmiley smile

Two craft stores later... i bought the pens and tried. There is no way I can do this. I can't center it or keep it straight and I refuse to draw guide lines and space count on 175 envelopes. I give up.

I heard you that Kinko's can do printing on the envelopes. I would look into the cost of doing it the easy way.

CHristine, I was just going to type that bit of info.

I am having my invites done via Staples or Kinkos. I will bring the blank invites, and they only charge .09 for each item needed. $4.50 for invites, $4.50 for Reception RSVP cards and $4.50 for Welcomd Dinner RSVP inserts. That is a total of $13.50.

I am sure they could do envelopes as well, but in all honesty, doing Avery's template was easy. I just copied my guest list and pasted. I am sure I could have integrated, but I am not quite sure how to do that.

I did my mini programs, in colored ink, and they turned out wonderfully.
