Has anybody attended a Wedding Flea Market before?

joey, on May 9, 2018 at 3:55 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 31

They are having one in my City on June 2nd. This is my first time hearing about it and I was thinking about going. Early admission is $10 and an hour later is general admission at $5.

Obviously this is where bride try to resell their apparel and decor items and I guess some regular wedding vendors could be there too. I'm wondering if it would be worth the $10?

Anybody ever attend one?

I wonder if we're in the same city, there's also a wedding flea market happening June 2nd by me Smiley xd I thought about it as well whether it was worth going or not. Curious to hear others' opinions.

ETA - If it's the same event, you won't find vendors there. It's just for people to sell their stuff, but I believe vendors will advertise their services in the form of paper advertisements given by the event I'd think.

The one in Pittsburgh's pretty popular and large. I just signed up for updates regarding the next one, July 8.

I would go to one if I had the opportunity. I'd probably also worry about spending too much on stuff I don't need.

But, I guess looking at local yard sale groups and marketplace ads on facebook would be the cheaper way to go.

I would totally go! Worst case scenario, it's an extra $10 spent on the wedding and you get to spend a couple of hours browsing and maybe getting some ideas.

I would go if they had one in my area. You never know what you may find and what a great idea for everyone to help sale what they have from their own weddings.

My youngest daughter and I tried to go to one in Wisconsin a couple months ago but when we arrived the line to get in was so long that we bailed, plus it was really cold outside.

I've actually heard that the one here in Pittsburgh is amazing. It sells out in advance, and people line up outside the convention center 2 hours early. Its like the Black Friday for wedding decor!

The good thing is, most of them are Cash Only, so you can only spend what you bring. Lol
