i'm trying to configure my wedding to go as cheaply as possible. i currently have about 70 guests on the list, going to get fh to narrow down his guest selection within the next few days to try to have a max of 55-65 guests. i'm trying to avoid serving dinner, but i still want to have some stuff to...

I'm trying to configure my wedding to go as cheaply as possible. i currently have about 70 guests on the list, going to get fh to narrow down his guest selection within the next few days to try to have a max of 55-65 guests. i'm trying to avoid serving dinner, but i still want to have some stuff to snack on available.

anyway, i'm thinking of using Edible Arrangements. there's a store within about two hours of me, but i can't travel there just yet--won't be able to until around the 20th. i'm liking what i see on their website, but they don't tell around how many people their sizes can serve! it's driving me insane, because i really don't know how much to budget in for if i don't know how many i'll need to order! so has anybody ever ordered from here? how large are the arrangements, and do they turn out looking as beautiful as the pictures? how do they taste? because i know sometimes stuff like this can turn out looking good but not tasting as great. Make sure and take into consideration whats more important to you: the value of having someone else make them for you so you are less stressed or the stress of having to put out the money for them.

Edible Arrangements have been wonderful to my clients. All the fruit is completely fresh!

I have had them for a few occasions. One Mother's Day I received one as a gift and some of the fruit near the bottom was moldy - yuck! I imagine they mass-produced a bunch of them for the upcoming occasion and that it had been sitting there a day or two before they brought it to my house. So, my suggestion is, do not make them too far ahead of time because they can go bad before they are served.

They are delicious, i've never used them myself but have heard they are quite expensive.

I would get smaller ones for each table. Then everyone just has their own table fighting over the fruit! It would be a lot easier then everyone lining up and trying to grab at it in one place! Things always seem to spill and stuff to when done like that.

An edible arrangement arrived for my aunt this weekend, (her son passed and some co workers sent it for her). It was beautiful and it was very fresh. Good size pieces of fruit too.
