Has anyone attended a Macy's Registry Event?

We registered AT macy's, but IDK if it was an "event". They gave us a coupon booklet, a couple of waters, a barcode gun, and a tour.

Maybe this is something different?

No Sun it is different. They send you event emails. Food etc.

Maybe I'll have to be the Guinea Pig on this one and report back. Lol

I went but wasn't super impressed. My best friend just got married and registered through Macy's and was surprised to find that there wasn't much bought from her Macy's registry. We're trying to figure out if we're sticking with Macy's or compromising on Target, Kohls, or Bed Bath and Beyond?

FH and I did. It wasn't anything really special, other than we were given a little gift bag with a few coupons in it, and they had snacks and punch. Other than that, they just had someone available for questions while we were registering.

Personally, I prefer the things I registered for from Bed Bath and Beyond more.

I went and we got a guft card to restaurant.com I don't think your FH wqill enjoy it and its not really necessary to go because you can do your registry online. But if they're offering something good, stop by.

We went and I felt it was overwhelming- lots of lost looking engaged couples! There was food, drinks, a DJ and a couple other bridal vendors. It would have been fun had we actually had a minute to relax. The employees were very helpful but I thought they might have been pushing certain brands/items. By the end of the night it felt like maybe the store or employees had an incentive in relation to the amount of $$$ that was registered for at the event. All in all, I'm glad we went- we had to register some time and I'd rather see certain items in person.

And we are date twins!!

FH and I went. I would suggest going in store to register, even if its not at an event, so you can see and feel the items. After we did that, I went through online and made sure the stuff we picked had good reviews and such, an swapped things when necessary.

I highly suggest going in store. I find it easier to go through the store scanning away.

Hey hey lady! You know what? I have never been to one but, go on, enjoy it! You only get married once, you should experience all of the fun!
