Has anyone bought a wedding dress on amazon and what was the result?

I didn't buy my wedding dress from Amazon, but I did get my veil from them. I made sure I read reviews before I purchased anything. I purchased three different veils and all three offered free returns. I picked the one I liked the best of out the dress and returned the other two. I have also purchased shoes and other dresses from Amazon and I always make sure to read reviews and look at photos of actual people in the dresses. I will say I bought one dress to wear to a wedding and after washing it once I never wore it again because it didn't hold up well in the wash.

Not quite the same, but a few years ago my daughter got her prom dress from Amazon. I was surprised at the quality. She was a size zero so we didn’t run into the issues if the size running small like I heard in the reviews.

I didn’t by my dress but I did get my veil from them. The first one I returned because it didn’t go with my dress & it was so easy to return plus I didn’t have to wait an eternity to get my $$ back. I got this veil & love it!

You have to be careful about actual wedding dresses on Amazon. Sometimes, the dress you see is the designer's stock photo and what you receive is a knockoff (and not a good one at that). I saw a Mori Lee dress that I loved that was priced at around $1500. Amazon had the same dress offered by another seller for $300 but used the same stock picture as the one used on Mori Lee's website. I took a chance and ordered it, and needless to say, it was a bad knock off. It went back to the seller immediately. LOL! However, I've been successful with purchasing other clothes on Amazon without any issue. Just be careful (and make sure the dress is eligible for returns) and give yourself plenty of time to find other options just in case the one you find on Amazon doesn't work or isn't what you expected.

I’d also be careful with Amazon for wedding dresses. Veils on the other hand are fine (depending on the seller). If you want to go the online route I’d check out Azazie.

I did not get mine off of Amazon but I almost did. I did get my gown online though. My advice For buying anything online Is to check for the return policy and if possible check for customer reviews that have actual photos
