Has anyone bought dresses from the ieiebridal.com website? or bought a dress from there after before looking in store?

I've been looking for dresses, trying to get an idea of what kinda I'm looking for. My dream dress is an A-line, long sleeves, sweetheart illusion neckline dress, and I found it on the ieiebridal website: https://www.ieiebridal.com/ (granted, when you search for it under A-line, it also falls under ballgown). Our budget is already tight as is (though my cap is 1500, that's also with alterations included), but the listing price is around 650, and that's just perfect. My dream dress while in a price range I can afford! It's perfect!

Problem is, I've never really TRIED on any dresses yet. I still want to go try on some dresses, one to get accurate measurements, and two to see if I can find a dress SIMILAR to the one on the website and if I find it and it looks how I'm dreaming of, then I might just get it from the website. And I've been searching other store websites to see if I can find to try on in-store a dress similar to the one on ieie's, but nothing comes close to it, and all I can think of is, 'But it's not MY dress"

Problem is, I have had different advice from friends that I shouldn't be sold on a dress just from looking on a website without trying on other dresses first and ordering it from the store other than online. I understand that I too am worried about ordering any dresses online after hearing/watching too many Wish wedding dresses horror stories to fill my head, but I've done my research and it seems like a great company. I've read a lot of reviews on their website and they all seem great.

So my question is, has anyone ever bought a dress from ieiebridal.com website? How was their customer service? Was the dress of great quality? Do you recommend them to others? Did you find THE dress from ieie's after trying on others in store?

I’ve never purchased a dress from this company, but they seem to have a really good reviews online! Also, they have a seven day return policy. So you could order your dream dress, and if it ends up not being everything you had wanted/imagined… you can return it!

I would be wary of them because they are creating knock-offs.

    Example: https://www.ieiebridal.com/collections/bohemian-style-lace-wedding-dress/products/champagne-halter-lace-a-line-wedding-dress-judy?variant=44523200404

is an imitation of this designer gown: https://www.justinalexander.com/lillian-west/collection/wedding-dresses/6468/?page=7

Have you considered buying your dress from a marketplace? I'm currently checking https://www.nearlynewlywed.com/ daily because they have a 5 day return for any reason policy (without a 20% restocking fee like IeieBridal, it's only $50). I'm also watching on https://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/ because they use PayPal which protects me if I get a bad seller (like Poshmark)...but no returns unless the seller says they offer it :/

I’m not much help with this particular website. However, I did order my dress online without trying it on first so I have some input on that. I ordered through Etsy from a designer in Russia, Olivia Bottega. I absolutely LOVED my dress and the quality far exceeded my expectations! The same dress here would’ve been three times the amount I paid. With any online purchase, there’s always a risk of not liking it, or quality being different than what you hoped for. I highly recommend trying on dresses first. I was able to try on different silhouettes and fabrics to see what I really wanted in my dress. With everything I tried on, I would’ve had to alter and add or remove, so I opted for a customized one. Some things I thought I wanted, didn’t flatter me when I tried on so I was able to see what I liked and didn’t like. This helped me feel more confident ordering online. Again, highly recommend trying a few on first just to solidify your vision. I’m pro online since I ordered my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, and flower girl dresses all through Etsy. This designer also offers returns on her dresses if they aren’t customized (not meaning custom sizing, but changing aspects of the dress versus her original design). Granted, they do take a couple months to get, but you could return if you aren’t 100% happy with it. I’ll include a link to her shop and a picture of my dress.
