Has anyone done a champagne tower at their wedding?!

There was a bride on here who posted her BAM last year and she had a champagne tower. I don't think she's been back on here since then though.

This is one those things that doesn't live up to expectation. Other than the great visual, all the glasses are sticky with champagne that has flowed over the sides.

I am debating this too! But, I think we're going to do just full champagne glasses assembled in a tower so guests can immediately grab a drink after the ceremony ends (our wedding is NYE so we feel like we need some sort of champagne display!)

I think they sound much nicer then they end up being in practice.

I would suggest practicing before you have it if you're going to pour the champagne and have it cascade rather than having a stacked tower with glasses already full. I went to a wedding last year where the whole thing toppled as the bride poured and there was broken glass all over the floor. Love the idea though.
