Has anyone else reached out to your lawyer?

I’m trying to see if in the event my wedding is destroyed and my venue cannot provide me with all the things that they are promising due to Covid, that I will be able to get some of my money back. I’m trying to see if in the event my wedding is destroyed and my venue cannot provide me with all the things that they are promising due to Covid, that I will be able to get some of my money back.
I understand my guests will be subjected to Covid rules, but that’s not the issue.
THE ISSUE Is that I don’t want them to charge me for all of the things that they can’t provide and then five days out from my wedding tell me I can’t have those things and won’t get refunded. Has anyone else reached out to a lawyer yet? Or do you plan to?

    In essence, you are reasoning sensibly. Why should one side pay for force majeure? If there is an unforeseeable situation beyond the control of both contracting parties, then the compensation should be mutual
