Has anyone ever used an out of state photographer?

I planned my entire wedding out of state (yay military!). Easiest thing for me to plan was my photographer. We used Benjamin Farren with Weddings by Kora located in California. Check out their website to see their work! Packages were well priced besides the obvious photography skills and images we received afterwards. They have a particular style and love to capture sun flares and golden hints so it’s not for everyone. They were able and willing to travel for our wedding by car, but plane was also a possibility. I believe they are also willing to travel internationally, but don’t quote me on that.
Overall, it was a great experience and I can’t recommend them enough. They know how to remove the awkwardness of being in front of the camera and capture amazing shots. Photos are up to a 3 month turn around as they take upwards of 3,000-5,000 photos during the event. We are IN LOVE with ours.

I'm getting married in Italy so it'll be out of country videographer and photographer! We had some video calls on whatsapp and his english is very good and I love his style. I would definitely study their past work and also have video calls and see how they communicate with you. My videographer is good at sending over voice messages which makes me feel confident about our communication method.

Yes! We live in Arizona, getting married in Greece, and flying a photographer/videographer duo in from Iowa 😂 so excited. We've done tons of video calls and text often.
