Has anyone gotten married in puerto rico recently or a year ago

I'am getting married there on July 20,2013. I need to know what is the requirement to do this. What forms do I need to bring with me and what they request to get married there. Thanks for the info in advance. Sala

    I'm planning a November 2017 wedding in Puerto Rico, and I'm confused on the Affadavit. I work at a law firm, does this mean I can have one drawn up here, in Michigan, and bring it with me? I thought I read that you need to have a Puerto Rican attorney draft it? Ashley, can you advise? Or contact me?

    Hello Ashley,
    Can you tell me if the sworn statement has to be dated 10 days or less prior to the wedding? I understand the medical statement does require that, but I'm finding conflicting information on the 10 day rule for the affidavit/sworn statement.
