I'm afraid of losing mine right now, I'm losing a lot of weight and it is starting to get too big. However it's a catch 22- how long do I wait until I resize it? lol I keep saying, what a "horrible" dilemma to have.

Omg! i never take mine off because of this... mine is a bit loose so i have a slight tighter guard ring infront of my engagement ring to stop if from coming off...

I know someone who lost her engagement ring during a code blue (hospital term for someone dying; emergency) because when she took off her glove, her ring went with it... we tried to look for it after... but no luck... =(

I don't know when or what happened, but I lost mine. My fiance was stationed in Pensacola, FL for A- school and I flew to see him. When I'm on planes, my hands get super cold and my fingers shrink. I think that, combined with the rushing I had to do going from one airport to another, plus sleeping on the plane, it could have easily been stolen or fallen off. My parents helped me search the whole airport, and the police officer who helped me even held up the plane to look for it. No such luck. Smiley sad I think it fell off when I went to the restroom in Atlanta airport and I didn't notice because I was too busy worrying about having a seat on the plane. It was during an awful storm, so they were close to canceling my flight.

Does anyone have any recommendations about replica ring makers? My ring was a family heirloom on my fiance's side. We haven't told them since it meant so much (though it was from a divorced marriage). I loved it; it was literally perfect for me. But I can't find a replica online. Any help or suggestions?

Last night my wife of 40 years told me her engagement ring was missing. She hadn't been wearing it while working as a nurse, because it cuts through the gloves. She was leaving it in a jewelry dish on the vanity of our master bath. I have been remodeling the guest bath for a couple months, so things are in disarray. We've had a couple family members and one of their friends who may have been in our bathroom but we hate to think that was what happened. We also have two cats and more likely they may have knocked the ring out of the dish and played with it. There were still two other rings in the dish undisturbed. I took apart the drain, we dug through the trash and emptied the vacuum cleaner. Looked high and low (more low) in the bathroom and bedroom My wife even sifted through the cat litter. I know she is heart broken. It was not a large diamond nor a highly graded one, but it was the one she picked in 1979. I'm sure I will buy a replacement soon. It will be larger and sparkle plenty to make her smile. It will be graded, serialized and insured. Hard lessons.
