Has anyone planned a multi location wedding? How does one go about it?
My fiance and I are trying to figure out a way to have 2 different events.... Here's some context....
My entire family lives in a different country, and I'd like for my, well our wedding to be there, not just because my family lives there but because it is my home and it has always been my dream. Well, I live in the states and have lived here for quite some time, close to 14 years on and off, of those 9 years permanently. My fiance is from the states and he would like to have the wedding here. We both understand each other and want to be able to celebrate with both of our families as we value our families immensely, but we know that it would be really hard financially for both of our families to attend one or the other.
Has anyone tried to plan a multi location wedding? How did you go about it? What did you end up doing?
