Has Anyone Printed Printable Signs off of Etsy?!

Emily, on January 12, 2021 at 10:17 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

Hey guys!! So I came across printable files on Etsy that you can buy and they have bundles of wedding signs. I've never downloaded or printed anything like that before so I was wondering if anyone has done this and then just bought frames for them to go in? I'm stuck and need help on how to print them in the sizes I need!! Lol

For our wedding, I bought printable programs, escort cards, and large signs from Etsy. The smaller signs my decorator created using her Cricut. We don't own a printer so the programs and escort cards I had printed at Office Depot. I just had to pick what paper I wanted and they handled cutting them to the proper size. The large signs I had printed via VistaPrint on large foam boards and they were displayed on easels. You can get them the large foam boards from Office Depot too, but VistaPrint had a sale so it was cheaper. The small signs my decorator created had the same font and everything as the large signs since I sent her a photo of what they looked like. After she created them with her Cricut, she put them in frames she got from the Dollar Tree. Is there a specific sign you are looking to print the signs in?

Save the file to a flash drive and take it to a local Staples/Officemax

I was thinking of bringing them to staples or somewhere like that that prints! I just didn’t know if it’d be expensive! Lol we need 8x10 and 5x7 I think! Smiley smile

Just to give you an idea I believe I spent about $65 on 100 programs that were in color and double sided. You should be able to go on Staples or Office Depot online and see how much they would charge based on what you want.

I printed and stenciled mine for free. Check on google if there is any free stencils. I found a lot last year.

How did you do this? I'm just trying to find the most affordable option! Lol weddings are expensive enough and we're not trying to blow a bunch on decor but I also have a vision...

I saved the image, print them as big as you want. Use it as stencil in any paper or wood you have. I used a think cardboard and a glitter silver wrapping paper.

They are generally one of the cheaper options because that is their main job.

I printed them using the site Printsoflove and they were affordable and did all sizes of print. They ship to your house and turn around time was relatively quick (5 days).

Yes I bought the font file on Etsy and made all of my own signs, table numbers, seating chart, etc. You can have them printed at at Office Depot, Staples and places like that. It’s much cheaper than having them made by someone.

Yes, I worked with an Etsy designer in Australia for our seating chart and had it printed at Staples. They were great to work with, I was working with a very specific color that was tough to print, and they were awesome about printing it over and over again (without charging me!) until it was perfect. They printed samples, not the entire chart (it was HUGE!) but never charged me once.
