Hello, my last name is Weiner, pronounced "Wine-err" but obviously have been the butt end of a few jokes throughout my life. Now I've developed some pretty thick skin, and had some big laughs with friends on potential hashtags for this wedding... Don't get me wrong... its funny. But... for our own sake and because I know some family members would not appreciate it... I'd like to avoid the Weiner jokes as our actual hashtag on wedding day. So... we need a strong one not related to last names...
Background. First name is James, her first name is Stephanie (Steph), last name Brown. We're both former college athletes and big sports fans (Duke athletics is the only one we share). We're having a destination wedding at Atlantis in the Bahamas.
For the past 2 years we've been long-distance, but shes moving to me in Tampa Florida in the summer, which is significant because shes a true Florida girl and has always wanted to move back "home". I, on the other hand, have moved from Virginia, to North Carolina (where we met) to Kentucky (where she moved with me), back to Virginia for a job (Distance #1) and recently to Tampa (Distance #2 until she moves down). I'm not terribly creative but maybe someone can think of a good one with that info.
