Hashtag

I’m not sure how you would generate on Instagram but I have used google. It will bring up a few different websites including WeddingWire. Hope this helped ☺️

If I understand hashtags correctly, it’s not something that you link. You just ask your guests to add the hashtag to any pictures from the wedding that you post. Then you can search Instagram for that hashtag and see all the posts that used it.

You don’t link it anywhere. Guests will tag pictures with it by including it in the captions on their photos. Everyone can look up that hashtag or click on it from a caption and see all of the photos that were tagged.

Basically, you tell guests “use this hashtag” and then they put it in their Instagram captions. There’s no generating or linking. They’ll just put #weddinghashtag and then it can be searched and clicked on.

I just thought of something else.
If you are concerned about them not using the hashtag, wedding wire us an app for guests that they can upload photos into from your wedding and you’ll be able to see them. Looks pretty user friendly from the little bit of playing that I’ve done.

Hi Jennifer! All you have to do is decide on the hashtag you'd like to use and then share it with your guests and start using it in your social posts!

Once you've used your hashtag (by typing it out in the caption of your post or tagging your story with the hashtag), you can click on that hashtag to see all of the posts that have used that tag!
