I've thrown it out there a few times now. At the end of the day, I just wanted to be married to my FH and don't need a big wedding for that. He, on the other hand, is adamant my dad walks me down the aisle (as do I) and we say our vows in front of our families.

I do admit, it would probably be easier/cheaper/simpler/smaller, but I've never seriously considered it. This is a very important event in my life and I want to spend it with my family and friends and make it a memorable day for everyone to be a part of.

I told my fiance let just to the court house because everyone wants us to have a backyard wedding instead of our big one we are planning. And he said let's just go to Vegas, but we know no matter what anyone tells us we still doing our big one

Guilty !!! Weddings a few months away. Sort of dragging my feet through planning because I am anxious and hate it BUT can’t fathom not having family there w me. They’re a pretty fun and drama free bunch.
