Guilty AF! I mention it at least once a week. Wedding planning is stressful. And to top things off we both are under pressure and unexpected deadlines at our jobs, so eloping would have been easiest. But all great things don't always come easy right?!?!

I have always dreamed of having a nice small fairy tale wedding. I thought everything would be smooth sailing when we announced our engagement but I was bombarded with questions I could not answer. I just know what I want and how much I want to spend on my wedding. For me I hit a wall last year because of my health I had to have surgery. I told him the second I left the hospital and before I had my surgery I wanted to be his wife. I saw no point of waiting anylonger because we have been together for almost eight years and we had to push the wedding back because we used the money for the surgery. So yeah on our anniversary we went to our court house with my mom and maid of honor and got married. It was actually kind of nice.

Briefly, just us and our kids. But we both want to give each other the wedding of our dreams.

Guilty. I feel obligated to have a big wedding, because I know my family will be disappointed if I don't. I'm the oldest of my generation and the first to get married, and I know how they feel even if they haven't said anything. My fiancé is the youngest of his siblings, and he wants a big wedding. I am excited for the chance to make a perfect day for us, but the expense is unreal. I don't really know what I want, mostly I just don't want to disappoint anybody and I want it to be beautiful. Being the center of attention is nerve-wracking, I'm afraid of so many things getting messed up and it either being my fault or that after all this work I'll be unhappy with the outcome (the wedding, not my marriage). Ultimately I'm excited for it all, I love planning, and I hope it will be gorgeous and worth it. It's just stressful and time consuming, and I don't know where all this money is supposed to come from.

Guilty. I've joked about it before. My fiance & I are from two different states & I feel bad for not having all of his family there on our big day. Our parents would be crushed if we don't have a wedding since I'm the youngest & the only daughter out of my siblings & he's the oldest out of his siblings.

Guilty. I always wanted a real wedding, but into the planning I asked myself if that would have been the easier and cheaper way. In the end, I am still happy with my decision for a big wedding!

Guilty, several times, Lol. But this will be my fiance's first real wedding so I want it to be special for her. So we are staying with the plan and having a great day with friends and family at our wedding.

Does a destination wedding count? We also went to the county clerk and got our informal marriage certificate.

Guilty. Not because of the planning, more so just to be married and done with it.

I tried so had to have a small wedding with no one there, basically eloping. I lost and my fiancé gets his big party.
