    Completely innocent. This is definitely what I want. The only upside to eloping for me would be the money. But experiences are more important to me than money!!

    I’ve jokingly said this but think deep down both FH and I wouldn’t want that and would probably regret it later if we did. We are both very close to our families and would love for them to be there.

    My FH is actually the one who wanted a wedding with friends and family around. And I’m glad he brought it up to me. Cuz now I realize I might of regretted it later.

    We have seriously looked into this, and it is definitely still a possibility!! I wanted to be married like immediately, but at the same time wanted a big party. There are some nice elopement packages out there, but I think we will stick with having a reception. I just like to dance and party with my friends and my mom and my aunt too much to forgo that opportunity I think.

    I actually did elope! We are getting our marriage blessed in the church on our one year anniversary! It will be exactly like a wedding (the dress, the wedding party, the reception, the whole deal!)

    This is what we really wanted. We are very private people so we had an officiant marry us on the river, at sunset. Only my brother was there and we didn't have any pictures taken. We wanted it to be just us and our memories. Now we get share our love with everybody and celebrate a beautiful year of marriage!

    I wanted to elope, but my family pressured me into a wedding by saying "Oh, we can't wait to come to your wedding in Colorado!" and such things.
