We have but only in joking. I want the entire world and family to see how much we love each other. I eloped the first time and regretted not having anyone there I truly loved.

Innocent and Guilty - Originally never thought about eloping because this is a big day for him (his 1st marriage, not mine) and I didn't want to cheat him out of the experience, etc but with the drama from his grown kids I wish we didn't have everything done with deposits paid, etc because I would say let's elope and/or have a destination wedding because I know that 98% of his family wouldn't be there are about 98% of my family would

Innocent, I've never thought about that as an option, even when I was younger. I always wanted it to be a celebration of our love.

Definitely not! My dad suggested the idea and my FH is down but I can't go without a wedding!

EVERYDAY. But we are the most put together members of the family. meaning the others are most likely not to get married, so we had to

I'm thinking about it now D: But we promised my FH's parents that we would have a "real" wedding, and not follow in his brother's footsteps (he had a shotgun wedding after finishing basic training). I want a nice wedding, I just don't want to have to wait so long for it because we're broke D:

I have but my FH wouldn't do it because he wants his mom to see him get married. I said she could go with us!

We are actually considering this, then still having our wedding—ceremony and all—for everyone as planned.

YES! I've asked my fiance multiple times to elope, but he really wants a big wedding, so I'm going all in. But if he changed his mind tomorrow, I'd be totally cool with it.

Yeah. Everyday, at first anyway. Then the closer we got the more excited I was for the wedding that we are planning... until my fiance lied to me about the cost of our DJ and put us over budget. Now I just dont think I want the wedding.

Sort of guilty. But I want my family there so it wouldn't actually happen.

Guilty. He was the first one to mention the idea before we even got engaged, and as time went on I am totally on board with it, so that is what we're doing. Smiley laugh

That has definitely been on the table as an idea for us, but I really just want a big-ish wedding!
