Have you had a nightmare about wedding mishaps??

I'm still well over a year out and I've had one dream so far: For some reason we set two dates, if the first one didn't work we'd just use the other. So the first date comes, no one has their outfits but FH, and he wants to get married. I'm like uh, I don't have a dress, but he doesn't care and says he's marrying me, not a dress. I show up at the church (we have never considered a church wedding so that's also weird lol) in sweatpants and an oversized shirt to call his bluff. He doesn't care... we get married with me in sweats in front of everyone from my high school who I don't talk to anymore 😂

It's so crazy the stuff our brains will stick together when we're constantly thinking about one thing. I love that you had to make a note to check all of that lol.

I dreamt I was the only one at the venue. Place was locked. I was wandering around alone in my dress wondering where everyone was.

I haven't had any day of dreams, but i've definitely had dreams of planning, which have stressed me out more than the actual planning.

I had a dream a guest got really drunk and started telling people I had a wild past and and was lucky my fh was marrying me LOL I don't even know who the guest was, but they're off the list!

When it comes to wedding planning, reality is scarier than any nightmare. Like so many others, we had a postponement, so for me that was a nightmare come true.

Lol! These are hilarious!

I've had 2 stress dreams. One was that my sister decide to get married later the same day, so at our wedding, she's in a tracksuit but with her hair and makeup done. The officiant starts with us in front of her, but we're so far away from our guests that they don't realise she's started. We ask her to maybe try and get their attention and she says it's their hard luck and continues on!

Then, I had another dream where my mum and I went upstairs to do something with my dress or take a breather or something at our wedding reception, and the venue tell us they will call us down when it's time to, and to just relax. Anyway, no one comes back, and we realise it's been ages so we go downstairs - and the whole place is closed and dark, with the alarm on. My husband is gone, our guests are gone, no one is there.

I think I see people outside (which is also pitch dark) so I think for a moment our guests must be waiting for us outside - but no. They are random strangers I've never seen before, sitting on picnic tables in the dark drinking wine and staring at me in my wedding dress, LOL.

Brains are weird things and there is no accounting for what they'll put together!

Yes! I had a nightmare that my groom and I left before the reception and missed everything lol

I havent had any major nightmares yet but we are still a year away however I might have some now because they just reinstated the mask wearing mandate at work......I have rosacea on a good portion of my face face and wearing a mask for 9 hours a day aggravates it to no end.......Im talking an itching burning rash across my face that makes me feel like scratching my face nonstop because its so aggravated. I dont wear make up on a daily basis because it makes that even worse. They had dropped the mask mandate memorial day weekend and it took 2 MONTHS for me to get my face back under control and no rash. Now I'm freaking out that this will last another year again and Ill have this horrible rash all over my face. If that wasnt bad enough I got regular nose bleeds during the year of wearing the mask and they come with no warning.

I had them a month before our wedding and then again the week of.

When i was wedding planning i definitely had those type of dreams.

mine had a lot to do with things i was genuinely nervous about
