Hi fellow Brides/Grooms So, my wedding date is less than a year away and I have yet to book anything pertaining to my wedding. I’m not sure whats the procrastination other than Covid 19, anyone else taking their time with their plans although time is running fast? Leslie Flores

And that’s the real question, what do I want? I ask my fiancé for his opinion and he states his job is to show up w his suit and check book; no help there. Lol

    Blessings,

    Hi,

Too many ideas. Maybe I should somehow incorporate them all to get what I want.
    Best wishes

    Hi,

I think I have more options as far as venue since my wedding is taking place on a weekday as oppose to a weekend. Having our nuptials on our 1 year anniversary.

Totally understand. The first thing I focused on deciding is where it would be (we picked a nearby beach town). After that, visiting different places to host helped the rest fall into place. Once we were actually there, imagining “this is where the wedding will be” helped the decision feel right, just trust your gut Smiley smile then just reminding myself the decorations, dress, etc were all extra things that in the grand scheme won’t matter as much as you getting married Smiley smile

Well first you need to create your budget and guest list then decide on a venue. After that you will want to start booking any vendors you want such as caterer, photographer and DJ. You will also want to start dress shopping because dresses can take a while to come in. My mom gave me The Knot planner which was so helpful. I would also recommend checking out Jamie Wolfer on YouTube. She is a wedding planner and she has some many videos on YouTube about planning a wedding.

Don't stress it. I just started planning a my wedding and we have a June 5th date. I havn't found that many of the vendors I wanted are booked. We are also have an intimate ceremony with 50 people due to the pandemic.

I think you might have a very hard time finding vendors for a wedding next year. So many brides have postponed their 2020 weddings to 2021, so many/most vendors will be booked. I would start planning ASAP. Particularly securing a venue, photographer, and caterer.

Oh yes if it's a weekday then it'll be much easier to find a venue that is available! That's what we did for our minimony and we didn't secure a venue until 6 weeks before. We got married on our 4 year dating/1 year engagement anniversary ❤️❤️
