I am planning my October wedding. We originally thought we were only going to have about 55 people. But the list has grown a bit since we first ordered our cake. Now suddenly so many people are planning on going. We are going to have two cakes like the ones above. Brides cake is going to be a two tier with tiramisu on the top and strawberry cream cheese on the bottom, and the grooms is going to be a one tier death by chocolate. Our cakes are collectively suppose to feed about 55 people. But we are expecting 65 now. My fiance is wanting us to get an additional 1 dozen dozen cupcakes in another flavor.
My. Question is, is that going to look weird to just have a random 1 dozen cupcakes sitting there? I was thinking about asking to add another tier to the brides cake. But he really likes the cupcake idea. Just thought I would ask for some advice from others before I talk to our cake baker about adding more cake. Haha.
