Welcome to WW Andrea ~ do you have your venue yet? What colors are you doing.

Tell us more of what type of atmosphere you are going for. Describe your vision, give us some adjectives.

    ~ happy planning ~

Yes I'm having my wedding in my aunt's backyard which is huge and surrounded by orange trees. I'm having the reception at a hall my colors are gold, white, black, and red I'm trying to do an elegant masquerade not Mardi gras masquerade I was thinking about having an italian menu but not sure exactly what. The bridesmaids dresses have been difficult since in my eyes all the dresses look the same trying to find a ball gown type

Hahah I'm here. I'm having a masquerade theme too, so I can give you a few ideas.

Beads, feathers, & of course masks are the typical. We are doing a "traditional faire" meal, chicken, mashed potatoes, beef, rolls. So I would think olden day foods. Cake, anything goes I think. I've seen topsy turvy cakes, square, etc. If you google "masquerade ______ (insert cake, wedding ideas, themes) trust me you will get alot of ideas.

I think it depends on how "masque" you want to go. Are you doing just small accents, or going all out? If you're going all out, think ren faire/gothic/victorian attire for WP. Masques are all about the bling & bold. So depending on your colors, there's so many options available

    Looks beautiful!!!!

And those scroll invites are Gorgeous. Those also will cost a pretty penny to mail because of the shape/size.

How big is your budget for you invites? How many guests are you having?

That is going to cost you a lot in shipping if you send a strawberry or cookie to every guest. Have you considered just having them at the wedding as a favor?

    I like the longer dress.

    ~ congrats

My budget is $300 I'm having around $200 guests and yes I've thought about the shipping and thought maybe I could just hand them out at one of our family bar-b-qs since we have them at least once a month thought about having them at the reception but decided I'd rather do the picture frames for the photo booth pics

O and I liked the longer dress as well Smiley smile most of my bridesmaids would like the short one though so I might just do both dresses see how it looks with them standing next to eachother

200 guests.. that would be around 100 invites.... one per house not one per guest.... so a budget of $3 per invite.... so yes $14 per invite does sound a little out of the budget. Smiley smile

All of your ideas look great! I did just want to point out that Shakespeare is missing it's final e in that poem! (the poem is beautiful, by the way!) I'm assuming you didn't already send them out. If you did, whatever! No one would notice, I'm sure. Smiley tongue
