Having to Pay Upfront Way Before New Wedding Date

Hello Everyone, We've had to make a tough decision to postpone our wedding from October 2020 to May 2021. With this, several of our vendors have required us to pay the full amount two weeks prior to our original wedding date of October 2020, which is 7 months prior to our changed wedding date. Has anyone else experienced this? Vendors seem to be having new policies amid a lot of likely rescheduled weddings due to the pandemic.

    Hi Lei! Is there anything in your original contract that outlines what the fees and policies involved in postponing would be? This is unprecedented craziness for everyone, but if there's anything that was clearly stated in your signed contract that will be the deciding factor!
