Having Your Venue Provide Your Hairstylist

I am getting married in Hawaii, and there is no way I can get a trial or get to know the person before the big day. The venue told me that I can ask any questions through them, and they will forward the question to the mua / hair artist. It’s annoying, but what can I do.... I will start collecting hair pictures in detail, and sending emails like I don’t care how many times, because that’s what the venue wants, and I am the bridezilla 😅


Did you ask your venue how you can communicate with your hair stylist?

Sounds so convenient!!! I would try to do a test run ! Maybe see how they do before the actual wedding or if they can show you some samples of hairstyles...

Fellow hairstylist here! 👋 of course having a practice before the big day is always ideal for both the bride & the stylist to get on the same page, but sometimes not always an option. I am having a destination wedding in Hawaii and am not able to have a practice but really wanted to get my makeup done for the big day. I looked on Instagram and found someone who had work that I really liked and a style I thought I would mesh with. I would highly recommend looking on Instagram or social media to see if the service provider is someone you think could meet your needs! It’s such a great tool, and one of the reasons I have a professional page. I hope this helps a bit! ☺️☺️

I booked with one of the suggested services on this app. I haven't had my test run yet, but considering what we've already discussed this evening, you have a very good idea of how you want your hair to look, so I would personally be too scared to use someone I'd never met!

There are several services that will come to wherever you are the day of to do your hair and makeup and they still offer trial runs prior to...Don't give up on that part yet if it's what you really want.
