Hawaii or Costa Rica

Costa Rica is great but if given the choice, I’d pick Hawaii any day.

I’ve only been to Costa Rica (going to Hawaii for honeymoon) and I know October is in their “rainy season.” Usually November- April is their summer.

Honestly, I'd figure out a ace neither of you has been to and make it special for you both

I would say go to Hawaii it beautiful there

Costa Rica, I love it there. So much to do if you are the adventurous type, but also plenty of beaches if you wanna be lazy bums. Plus soooo much wildlife! When I went years ago I stayed in this really cute resort near the Arenal volcano and the bungalows (super inexpensive btw) all had tin roofs, we could hear monkeys on top in the morning looking for fruit in the trees!

I'd pick a new place that has a lot of the things you both are interested in (beach, adventure, tropical, etc).

You couldn't pay me to go to Costa Rica, but I'm dying to go to Hawaii. The dangers of South America and Latin American creatures scare the living crap out of me. That said--if you go to Costa Rica, just be safe and careful. In both countries, bring mosquito repellant--the mosquitos can carry nasty viruses that can kill you or at least make you really sick. So if you go to Costa Rica, you are braver than me! But either place I'm sure will be magical. Please take pictures and be safe!

I did a waterfall rappeling there with a company and they were experts! I never felt more safe doing a risky thing lol. And ya, mosquitoes and dangerous animals live everywhere. That’s wonderful! I’d love to see pictures but which part of Hawaii has your husband been to, because it might be better to go somewhere you both haven’t been! Like if he’s been to Oahu, maybe go see Kauai or the big island. Hawaii is my dream destination

I really want to go to both I’ve never been to either .. Costa Rica sounds more appealing to me bC I’m not huge on flying and Hawaii you have to account a whole day just for travel .. where I’m from at least lol

Hawaii for sure! And I HIGHLY recommend Kauai!

I'd want to go somewhere new! So many places to go and things to see in this world, why repeat? Belize and Ecuador are supposed to be nice, and lots to do for the adventure-inclined. I've been to Peru and it was incredible. Like, I could live there.

If you're set on those two choices, your money will probably go a lot farther in Costa Rica.

I would say Hawaii, there are so many different things to do and you can really never go wrong
