    Unhealthy. Move more, eat less.

I have done it. Though it is completely your choice, I would advise against it. It works, but those who don't strictly follow the maintenance gain every pound back and more.

Consult with your doctor first. My old OB/GYN actually prescribed it to patients.

My mom did it for a while. Doesn't do anything. Found out later how unhealthy that stuff is!

Dont do this! My friend did this for her wedding and a few times after. She loses weight right away and then gains like 60 pounds ! So bad for you

I've had two friends do this. The problem they both faced was that it wasn't sustainable -- they went back to their regular eating habits and gained back all of the weight. It gave results but didn't allow them to do what they needed to do to make the loss permanent.

It works if you really stick with it but can have lots of side effects. If you stop and start you can flux in weight badly

I did it years ago with a co worker and although it worked (probably from only eating 500 calories a day) I gained it right back. Also my co worker at a HORRIBLE reaction to it and ended up having to go to the hospital!
