Head pieces

How did you determine what you wanted as your head piece or what pieces you wanted in your hair for your wedding as the bride? I’m not sure how to go about that. I’m not doing a veil, but I wouldn’t mind going with something decorative for my hair. Also, where did you go to find hair styles for the wedding day? My hair is about mid back and gets frizzy in the heat and will curl right up. I’m not sure what I want though, so that’s why I’m asking.

I am trying to decide that. I am having a rustic themed wedding so I am wearing my hear down some way... So maybe just putting a few baby breaths in my hair.

My dress is ivory with lace, the corals are beachy but the ceremony and reception are not on or near a beach.

I happened to find a headband that matched my dresses details. I have short short hair so I'm not doing anything

My biggest suggestion would be Pinterest. They have all sorts of hairstyle looks, and you can save any that you like. If you still can't decide, take it to a hair artist, and see if she has any thoughts on what kinds of things would work best with your hair, and she might also be able to something in the styles you save that she can put together into one style for you.
I decided my hair pieces by asking my hair artist what would be easiest to put in my hair with the particular style. She decided the kind of veil I got (not the style obviously, that was my choice), and decided what else she could use.

I kinda went a little backwards with this: I picked my accessories and hairstyle before getting my dress.

My hair does the same thing and doesn't take curls very well. So I decided to look up DIY hairstyles that don't require heat and found this one.

For accessories, I would look at love2blossom on Etsy. I got mine and my FG's flower crown from them.

I would check Pinterest for styles.. it can be overwhelming, but very helpful. As far as headpieces, I found mine on Amazon. I was looking at ones at David's Bridal to get ideas, but some of theirs were ~$100, which seemed crazy to me. I found one on Amazon for $16 and it doesn't look cheap at all.

I have been all over the place with my hair, veil, and accessories. I started with a birdcage veil then my dress style changed drastically, so it was no veil. Then while looking on Pinterest, I saw a hairpiece that I absolutely fell in love with. It was WAY out of budget, so I shopped around on cheaper sites and found something I really loved on Wish. From there I looked for simple hairstyles that wouldn't compete with the pieces or get on my nerves (I can't stand my hair down or in my face). I was set on just the hairpieces, but then I read so many posts on here about veils and how you may only get to wear it once and it really completes the bridal look and feel, and I had to have one. I found inspiration for mine on Pinterest. The only thing to decide is the fabric, which I'll be discussing with my dressmaker soon.

    Basically, Pinterest.

I’m basing my hair style and hair accessories on the overall vibe/vision we have for the wedding. I didn’t want to wear a veil because it didn’t go with the “look” I had for the wedding. We’re not having beach, or romantic, or rustic or princess wedding. Instead, our venue has a mature, old-school lounge/speakeasy style... which is perfect for what we were going for since we decided on a DW in Vegas. We wanted it to “feel” like Vegas. So I’ll probably do a low side bun style with a flower.

I went with this hairstyle because my hair is very thin I can't really do much with it or it will fall down and as for a head piece I got a comb at David's bridal on sale for 50% off and it match with my veil perfectly

I'm having a fairytale themed wedding and I want to feel like a princess so I had to have a tiara to complete that look lol I wasn't sure if I was going with a veil or not but when I was trying on dresses, the lady who was helping me had me try on a few different veils and I loved the look. No clue what I'm doing with my hair though. My FH loves my hair down so I'll probably pick a style that's mostly down. I look at images on google. If I see stuff I like, it has the website it can be found at-such as tiaras and hair pins. I'm not really a fan of pintrest

Frizz Ease (John Frieda) is usually good about taming unruly hair. A nice hair comb goes with just about any style. Pinterest has 900 trillion hairstyles.
