My question is, are you decorating your head table the same as the others? Or are you doing something totally different? I have enough centerpieces to keep it all the same but I wanted to see what everyone else is doing! Oh and if you have pictures I wanna see!

I bought mercury glass votives for the head table and I'm DIY'ing vases with silver leaf (faux mercury glass) for the bouquets. That's the only special touches the head table will have.

We are doing a sweetheat table- a rosette linen, a lush floral runner with orchids hanging down and lots of candles. I attached our inspiration photo.. I also just contacted the rental company for the throne chair! This wedding was in the same city (San Diego) we are getting married in, so I get to use their rentals- which will be the throne chair and some other gorgeous lounge furniture. We are getting all of our linens from La Tavola. So, guests tables will have all same linens, sweetheart and cake table the rosette texture linen, and our tables that will be in the foyer (gift table, escort card table) we'll be using a sequined linen (all in blush pink). So, it'll all tie in.

This is one reason why ww is a good thing, I never gave this a thought. Reading through this thread, I'm going with a different decor for our sweetheart table. Thanks for the heads up.

I think if you and your bridesmaids put your bouquets in vases and have some votive candles and/or some rose petals sprinkled, it would be enough. Icicle lights underneath the tablecloth look nice as well and are inexpensive.

I personally love flowers, and if it's in the budget, why not do a head table spray?

Ours will be different. We are having a long head table, but it won't have the same centerpieces on them...we haven't completed all of those details, but i'm sure it will be different
