Head table lighting

It might depend a little bit on your venue. We are doing something similar. We will buy strings lights (looking for battery-operated LEDs). Our contact at the venue offered to actually loop them under their linens for us because she's done it so many times and I think they also then avoid us messing up their little table hooks that would be used.

We're doing something like this! We have a table cloth and my mom made a tulle skirt and will be attaching them together the day of. Making it was very time consuming but saved a lot of $$ since tulle is cheap.

Hey Amy, this is a gorgeous look! Have you asked your venue whether they have done something like this before? Are you considering renting linens from somewhere that might be able to help you achieve this look? That might save you from having to buy all the separate parts and then figure out how to put them together yourself.
