Create “Heaven on Earth” invitations with an angel theme. Check the Internet and local stores for angelic cardstock to create your invitations. Look for beige or white invitations with embossed lettering and trimmed in silver and gold with touches of heavenly swirls, feathers and delicate designs. Or maybe even find a good sky/cloud invitation.

Pick a garden setting or create a garden-like setting to mimic the feel of the Garden of Eden. Decorate the venue for the rececption with angels and touches of clouds and feathers. Pick from colors such as light blues, white, silver and gold to create your color scheme. Add soft lights or candles to enhance the mood.

Twinkling Lights and/or solid white lights with white sheer draping.

Decorate the venue with big white drapery (see first post with the string lights as well). If you want to add an extra touch, you could use some greek columns as decorations.

Get a big angel ice sculpture or an angel fountain as part of your decorations.

As your centerpiece, you could use angel figurines or wing-shaped candleholders.

If you decide you would rather have a floral arrangement, make sure your flowers are white or ivory.

Another idea for a simple centerpiece is the use of pillar candles. You can decorate them by setting them on a base of feathers.

You can find wedding cake cutting sets, glasses, napkin rings, place card holders, etc., with the angel theme. Just look around and see what suits you best.

You can use silver linen for your table and chairs. Or use white linen and add the silver in the detailing.

Everything about your wedding should be soft, shapely, and flowing kinda like you are "floating on air".

Also if you didnt want to do feather centerpieces, I think white orchids would be a VERY nice touch. =)

I'd recommend a good low-lying fog for your first dance for a "dancing on the clouds" feeling... but it's not going to be cheap.

Also... make sure you check with your venue to make sure they will allow this.

Heaven is anything or anywhere you want it to be.

I guess if you are going for generic convention go for white and feathery!

just hired some one to do the drapings.....got 20 angel wings...hired some one to do the lighting....found 3 praise dancer....but this is just for the Reception...bummer!!!! no ideas for ceremony......@ krista b. love the picz ... thanks much, thinking bout doin something roman (ish).....???idk

@mcdjcarlos....had the fog idea...need to find a ice fog mechine. and how do i get it low laying....??? with out it being all over the room.

I still think you could add in the white orchids along with the feathers, I think that would look nice!

Anastasia... it's a special type of fog/ice machine. It's designed to remain low. But again... it's not cheap. Ask your DJ if he has one. If not, he should know where to get one.

Wow, gorgeous idea pictures! I love that table with the soft lavender white lighting. I could also add have a cake with wings on it or frosting "feathers."

I see you are getting married in 3 weeks... do you have time to do anything additional?
