HEB Blooms pricing?

Lauren, on May 25, 2016 at 7:52 PM Posted in Planning 0 19

I've been looking at florist and it's my least concern with the wedding so I want it to be the least costing as well. Has anyone used HEB blooms and know it's pricing? I now live in Seattle and my wedding is in Texas and all they can tell me is to come in to discuss it.

I don't know about the prices, but just wanted to say that HEB is the best! I miss them so much...

If you are not really interested in flowers, check out Sam's Club and their pricing. Honestly, I don't think they can be beat. They have pre-made bouquets (limited selection, but perfectly acceptable), bouts, corsages, etc. You'll also get a good price on the old DIY centerpiece stand-bys of hydrangea and roses (again, nothing to take your breath away, but still, a lovely accent to a formally set table). Yes, you'll have to put them in vases of water yourself, but you can do this...it's so easy if you treat the stems according to their directions.

I don't know how many bouquets, bouts, corsages, centerpieces, or what amount of ceremony decor you want, and I don't know how large your wedding is. If it is the typical wedding of about 100 people, then you should put aside more than $1200 for your floral budget (and that's using very inexpensive blooms). If that's shocking to you, don't waste the florist's time unless you tell her, from the beginning, what you have to spend. Remember, if you don't tell a florist what you have to spend, they will spend hours putting together packages that may be far outside of your budget. You walk away with zip, and she walks away with zip. Nobody wins. Tell her what you have to spend, and you might be truly surprised at what she is willing to do for you.

Their prices are excellent. I'm well under the $1000 mark for my wedding. Their most expensive predetermined package is less than $1000. And their add ons are very reasonable. Their consults are on point and quick. See if you can get the lead florist on the phone at the HEB closest to your venue. They can probably send out the pricing pack (which is standard across all HEBs). Or I can send you one. Out of curiosity, where in TX are you getting married?

I got my flowers from HEB Blooms at one of the Austin locations!!!

Price-wise...VERY reasonable. When I showed my bouquet inspiration at other shops.. I was quoted a minimum of $175 (likely more they said). HEB did my bouquet for $70.

My bridesmaids bouquets were $28 (quoted at least $70 and up elsewhere)

Just go in with inspiration pics and ask Smiley smile You don't have to go with one of their pre-set packages.

I'm getting married at Spinellis Cathedral in Comfort. I talked to a florist and was quoted 875$ for what I wanted. Just bouquets for me and three bridesmaid and the bouts for groom and groomsmen. I'm doing other arrangements for center pieces and was hoping to stay under 500$. I've heard HEB will mimic any photos you bring in and do a fantastic job, I just was unsure about pricing.

Depending on the flowers you get, you may be able to keep it around $500. Roses, sunflowers, and lilies on the pricier side (looking at the packages). I'm doing the Classic Rose package with a few additions, including additional centerpieces. I'm looking at $700 max. if you aren't doing floral centerpieces, you should be good!!!! Since your wedding is in Comfort, are you using the HEB Blooms in Boerne? If so, Eddie is super sweet!

I was just wanting to do some sunflowers and lots of green fillers. I was planning on using the Boerne store, my family lives right behind it. I'll have to try and get in contact with him!

Did you ever get the pricing list!? I just fractured and dislocated my patella on Sunday. Freaking out because I’m pretty much immobile without a lot of help and not on disability. Trying to save money and plan the wedding. Super stressed.

We are getting married in Austin. Which location did you use? Do they deliver the arrangements or do you pick them up the day of wedding?
