Heel stoppers

Katie, on January 30, 2017 at 9:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Any advice on heel stoppers? Do they actually work? Any certain brand better then others? Thanks!

Uhhhh, are you supposed to walk in them with those on? I mean, people probably won't see your feet, but I think they look a little ridiculous. Why are you wanting them?

@Dani they're for walking on grass in heels. Maybe for pictures?

@Katie I'd just wear flats or wedges. These seem like more trouble than they're worth.

They're ugly as hell... I would definitely go with wedges or a wider heel....pretty much anything but those.... just my opinion

I wore them for my wedding; they were super helpful for outdoor pictures. Mine were cheap on Amazon.

Yeah, they're ugly, but no one should see the bottom of your heels in your dress.

I bought them for my wedding, my dress covered them. In my opinion they made it harder to walk in them, I took them off before setting foot on the grass.

The shoes I fell in love with are stilettos and we're having and outdoor ceremony and I'm worried about sinking in the grass

I've been wondering the same and wanted to try them out. I've also been looking at wedges, but they just aren't as cute!

I ordered the Wowly heel protectors from Amazon and had a good experience with the this past October. It was an outdoor wedding the day after the hurricane so the grass was a little soggy to boot. They were clear and comfortable to walk in. My shoes were ivory and my dress was long; the protectors weren't noticeable.

I got Gogo Heel stoppers when I was a bridesmaid a few weeks ago. Worked like a charm. We wore them from 4-10pm since both the ceremony and reception were on grass/packed soil and our heels never sank. They were still in near perfect condition at the end of the night, so I'm going to reuse them for my own ceremony.
