Help! Anyone hire nurses to help fly a disabled loved one?

Spark, on February 14, 2022 at 8:18 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
I need any tips, recommendations, etc.
An important loved one is unable to travel due to health issues but wants to come. What can I do?? Are there companies that assist with this?

Depending on how disabled we are talking, airlines will wheelchair a person right to their seat and then meet them once the plane lands and wheelchair them to their car/ ride. If the person needs constant care, then the person taking care of them now should probably be able to point you in the right direction Smiley smile

Are they in a nursing home? When my grandma was we once paid one of her normal caregivers to travel to a family reunion with her. Paid her salary, flight, accommodations, and meals.

Yes and thank you! I wonder if that would be possible. Great idea.
