After finalizing my vows, they are still three paragraphs long...
The first paragraph explains how we met and how I felt, the second paragraph is about what I love about him/us and the third paragraph is what I am promising to him.
I have no idea how to shorten it, but right now when I read them, they are about 60 to 90 seconds long.
We are also not religious in any way, so besides our personal vows, the rest will be pretty simple and to the point (his cousin is marrying us). The word count is at 350.
I feel like I've seen videos of romantic vows online and they seem much longer than this, but everything else I read says to keep them short and sweet. However, I have known him for 11 years now, so this ceremony will be pretty sentimental.
Thanks!
